Cadets Boys Club

Cadets

Cadets is a fun, fast-paced club for boys ages 8-14 (Grades 3 - 8). The club meets weekly on Thursdays from 7:00 - 8:30 PM from September to May. The structure of cadets is similar to Boy Scouts in many ways. Counselors lead groups of five to six boys in doing merit badges, projects, and hands-on activities. Activities include woodworking, engineering projects, model rocketry, and outdoor exploration.

In addition, our Cadets gather with other Cadet clubs in the area twice per year to demonstrate what they have learned and accomplished, and to compete in various skill testing challenges, such as fire-building, knot-tying, rescue, and Pinewood Derby Car racing. The cadets also take part in an annual camping trip.

Our Leaders

Our Cadet leaders are men who are intentional about being positive role models and mentors for the boys. Together we learn what it means to be honest, industrious and cheerful individuals within our families, community, and country. We explore the creation all around us and our responsibility as stewards of what we have been given. And we learn about Jesus, his love and care for each of us, and his call to follow him.

Our Mission

Develop character, build community, explore creation, and follow Christ Jesus.
